Jamil Zainasheff on a podcast I think once said take some base malts and do a mini mash then add that to your extract at mashing temp to help for some time maybe 30min and then boil. the Idea was that the minimashed grains would help with the extract ferment-ability. some extract beers seem to finish sweeter then all grain batches. I have never tried this and i cant remember which podcast it was, so take that info with a grain of salt ;)

Yeah I used to have a mangrove Jack's little electric kettle that I could do partial mash or mini mash with, was good, it allowed me to add some carapils for body and head retention plus more hops for better flavours

This weekend I will be bottling a FestaBrew Pale ale with 2 oz galaxy and 1 oz centennial  as a dry hop. For those who don’t know FestaBrew they are 23L of all grain wort all good to go, just pour in the fermenter and pitch the yeast. Easy money and a decent beer. Oh ya!
